Born This Way Media and its ‘truly’ diverse founders are working together to create a buzz, inform – and entertain – with their ideas, campaigns and content. They are committed to unearthing & telling amazing new stories along with finding new characters who come with unique perspectives on the world – who wish to play their cards in life – regardless of the hand they have been dealt.
What we are doing and working towards:
- To produce both BIG & EPIC series, IP & formats that can help us develop more and throw a rope ladder down to the new & emerging talent we work with.
- Helping disabled creatives with moving up to front their own series, on bigger canvases, with broader scope and subject matter: the unique people we package up projects for have skills, experience and knowledge way outside of their own skin.
- Being instrumental in upping the scale of casting and stories in scripted & comedy that puts disabled talent front and centre and in the starring roles, not as minor character actors or sub plots…but the plot.
Our core aims are:
- To embrace story-tellers, specialists in their field and film-makers from minority groups, especially people of body diversity, & LGBT+ communities whose voices might not otherwise be heard and stories not told.
- To develop & co-produce stand-out content for broadcast television, web & associated platforms incorporating specialist factual, factual-entertainment, documentary along with comedy & drama.
- To promote and educate on disability issues & widen the access of diverse talent across all forms of popular media.
